Tell us exactly what was said, where, and when you first saw it. Defamation claims turn on the words and the evidence of publication β€” but the one-year limitation period does not wait for tidy files, and screenshots vanish, so call first and gather as you go.

Office Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with out of hours appointments available. We act for clients in every county β€” most work runs on documents, phone, Zoom and email, and most Circuit Court claims settle before anyone travels to a hearing.

What to Have Ready

For a first consultation, the ideal bundle: screenshots with the URL, date and time visible; the account name or handle of the author; a note of who saw or shared it and any evidence of that, such as comments, shares, messages or people who told you; for a shop accusation, the retail receipt, any CCTV request you have made and any incident report; for a workplace matter, the reference, email or message itself; any letter you have received; and a note of the date you first became aware of it, because that date starts the one-year clock. Missing pieces are normal β€” call anyway. The two facts that matter most on day one are the exact words and the date of first publication.
